Why buy CBD oil products? There has been a lot of hype lately about CBD. Many people say that it can help people with some diseases like MS, Cancer and Parkinson’s disease. But is CBD good for everyone? Can it be used to treat things other than pain?
To answer this, we need to understand why CBD is called a “cannabinoid”. Basically, there are over one hundred different cannabinoids present in cannabis. Another common Cannabinoid is THC, also known as “pot”, but does not get you high like CBD. Although both of them have similar chemical composition, they produce different results.
CBD is a weaker Cannabinoid than THC, which means that it acts more like an Anti-Inflammatory Drug than an analgesic or an opiate. For this reason, it is less effective at getting people to fall asleep. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that it may also be effective at reducing some anxiety disorders. Therefore, if you suffer CBD Products from anxiety, insomnia or some other type of sleep disorder, maybe CBD is good for you.
Can CBD reduce your appetite? Some people do try to take small doses of CBD, in order to lose weight. It is hard to say whether this works or not. It appears to reduce appetite because some of the “fatigue” that occurs when on a low calorie diet is caused by lower energy levels, so decreasing the energy levels could help you lose weight. So, if you are taking a CBD product, make sure that it contains at least ten mg of the Cannabidiol, and use it sparingly.
What about CBD in hair loss products? One company has recently begun selling an oral supplement, in the form of capsules, that they say can stop the body from producing DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). This is a compound that the body produces as part of its natural defense against excessive testosterone. The problem is that most hair loss treatments are only topical and do not actually go below the surface of the skin. Therefore, whether or not this ingredient will have a beneficial effect on hair is, at this time, not known.
It is clear that there are many different benefits associated with CBD products. However, we cannot say for sure whether or not CBD is safe and/or effective, based solely on the limited research available on the subject. Studies have shown that CBD is effective at reducing nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing chemotherapy, reducing appetite and reducing the ability of cancer cells to thrive in the body. However, definitive evidence has not been reported yet, and the short-term use of CBD is linked to stomach issues for some people. In other words, the jury is still out on this exciting new natural ingredient, but it is clear that many experts around the world are excited by the prospects for CBD.
